If you visited the media area of the library recently, you probably noticed the new benches conveniently located in the room near the audiobooks. Retired Chief Justice Kay McFarland donated the two new handcrafted benches to The Library Foundation in 2014 to provide comfort and convenience in the well-loved media area of the library.
Justice McFarland enjoys a good mystery and likes to select her favorite audiobooks from the library. She identified a need for the library and offered this wonderful gift to provide a solution.
