A crowd of library supporters gathered at the annual Wilder Society Tea on Sunday, April 9 to be among the first to learn about the library's multi-year plan to improve the services, programs, collections and learning experiences provided by a 21st century library.
A special announcement was made, honoring Glenn and Claire Swogger for their pledge to underwrite the library's outdoor café expansion. This pledge comes with the privilege to name the new space. It will be named Claire's Corner and include a year-round all-weather pavilion, an outdoor courtyard and an outdoor amphitheater-type program area and classroom. Construction will begin spring 2018.
