I very vividly remember when I was a young girl going to the bookmobile in the summer with my sisters and getting books to read as well as the summer challenges that the library developed for us. I always participated in them. And now, as an adult, I understand the incredible opportunities the library affords all our community's children throughout the year. We are your library for life.
Services such as Bookmobile and Red Carpet – Senior Services ensure that citizens who are elderly, disabled or homebound can still be kept connected to their library. We help bridge the digital divide.
Our services
reach out to the community through creative partnerships and are readily available to all local residents. Our services provide a safe and nurturing place for children and families.
100% tax deductible
All charitable gifts to the foundation are 100% tax deductible. Each year, The Library Foundation has an independent audit conducted. The Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library is the sole beneficiary of funds raised by The Library Foundation.
